Know God
Peace and Abundance:
You have always been in God's heart and he knew you before he formed you in your mother's womb (Jeremiah 1:5).
God's desire is that you will now have peace and abundance despite difficulties and challenges (John 10:10). He wants to give you a peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
Do you have that peace and abundance that God promises?
Separation:
Our sin has separated us from God (Romans 3:23) and the penalty for it is death (Romans 6:23).
This is what the bible says:
"There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death." - Proverbs 14:12 (NLT)
"It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore." - Isaiah 59:2 (NLT)
Nothing nor anyone can bridge that gap between God and man except one...
God's answer to the separation problem:
Because of God's love for humanity he gave his one and only son, that is, Jesus (John 3:16) to pay the debt for our sins.
It is therefore through Jesus Christ that God has "reconciled us to himself" (2 Corinthians 5:18).
This is what the bible teaches:
For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. - 1 Timothy 2:5 (NLT)
Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit. - 1 Peter 3:18 (NLT)
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. - Romans 5:8 (NLT)
We can now see that God has provided the only way to salvation in his son Jesus Christ.
Receive Christ:
When you trust Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour of your life he makes his home in your heart (Ephesians 3:17).
The bible teaches that...
"But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God." - John 1:12 (NLT)
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved." - Romans 10:9-10 (NLT)
Now it's the time!
Let us then receive the free gift of God (Ephesians 2:8,9) through faith in Jesus Christ, knowing that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13).
This is how to pray...
Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you died for my sins on the cross and rose again by the power of God. I confess you today as my Lord and Saviour. I repent from all my sins and forgive everyone who has offended me. I receive today the free gift of eternal life. From now on I am going to follow you all the days of life with the help of your Holy Spirit. I pray this in Jesus name! Amen.
If you pray this prayer... welcome to the family of God! There is joy in heaven over you (Luke 15:7,10)! So celebrate and tell everyone of this free gift of God!
